A Brief Story About The Company
PT Pundi Uniwood Industry is a wood working in-dustry based n the regency of serang of the baten province in Indonesia. PT. Pundi has been in operation since the year 2000 and has obtained Legal Wood Certification (SVLK) No. 0010/MHI-VLK that was awarded by Mutu Hijau Indonesia on 23rd March 2012. The company is a labour intensive industry with more than 2,600 workers both male and female.
The industry’s production capacity of 100,000 m3/year requires raw material in the form of logs. To achieve a sustainable wood supply we have developed a joint partnership program with local farmer communities. Up till now PT. Pundi has obtained 95% of the raw materials from farmer community plantations for current production needs.
